Dedicated to building homes that are grounded in our four
principles of Design, Quality, Transparency and
Value to ensure the client's satisfaction, since 1993
Q: What does it cost to hire Dino? A: Generally, a percentage of the cost of the home. Dino maintains complete transparency in all aspect of the financials - you pay for what you want and need - and there are no hidden payments to Dino by subcontractors or suppliers. Dino will work directly with you on what fee you do pay. In addition, Dino will facilitate design of your home without the assistance of an architect.
Q: How long does it take to build a home? A: This can vary dramatically by conditions like weather, contractor availability, and selections of design materials in the home, however 120-150 days is a good estimate to use from breaking ground to end of project. Many times we can finish the project even faster.
Q: What does it mean when one says cottage style? A: The Cottage Style originated in England and was based on a smaller, modest sized home. It has evolved in North America to represent a style that is very Coastal and New England with clappored or Shingle Siding, light color tones like the beach, and interiors that are warm and welcoming.
Q: How does Dino Chose his Subcontractors? A: Like his own business philosophy, Dino wants contractors that are honest, trustworthy, cost effective, dependable and hard-working. He has the experience to know which contractors do not live up to the same standards as he has, so he creates a short list of those that fit his profile.
Q: What if I need a loan to complete my project? A: Dino has worked with local banks to facilitate obtaining a contraction loan for your project. As the owner of the property and holder of the mortgage, you will be part of the entire process of understanding what is paid out for your home and the creation of the budget.
Q: Will there ever be cost overruns? A: It is very difficult to exactly plan for every contingency and issue that comes up. Dino plans as prudently as possible to ensure there are few surprises, but with any building project, there are unknown things that crop up that may influence and affect the budget. However, transparency will always be maintained.
